A Solutions Event requires the participation of all key decision makers and the active sponsorship of a unit or organizational leader. Solutions events run from two days to a week after significant preparation by the Learning Innovation Advisors team.

Results include fully-documented solutions refined through post-event staff work to produce plans detailed enough to guide immediate implementation. When failure is not an option, this is the essential activity.

The virtual Magic Hour brings together relevant members of the network to interact with you and your team to work on a project in an accelerated session that requires about an hour of your time. The magic is in the acceleration made possible by extensive preparation to develop a refined understanding of the challenges before you. These sessions typically involve three or four network members with three or four members of your team.

The Day Trip is a full-day online interactive experience in which rotating members of the network collaborate with different configurations of your team and its clients/customers/friends to imagine the next generation of learning services for your organization. Day Trips are not typical grueling online ordeals, but delightful, energizing interludes that allow your team to go places they have not been before.

Day Trips make use of highly structured small group activities used in sequences that can include mini appearances, both live and recorded, from experts targeted to address specific challenges. The results of the Day Trip are captured in a photo montage with commentary and can be supplemented with live follow-up debriefing sessions for key leaders.

The Sleeping Bear Seminar is the Learning Innovation Advisors’ most extensive online activity. Did you ever have the experience of literally sleeping on a problem and arriving at better ideas the following day? The Sleeping Bear Seminar takes advantage of this process by staging a two day collaborative activity punctuated by a good night’s sleep, at least for our clients.

The first day is devoted to developing a complete understanding of the challenges under investigation and sharing that understanding with all participants. Near the close of that day participants are coached to focus on strategies for addressing those challenges, leaving them with key decisions as we break for the evening. The morning of the second day begins with a session to share ideas that have evolved over night and the rest of the day is devoted to making them actionable.
